Tuesday's Tatting

I am starting to progress a little faster with the doily I am working on and am now at the point where I only have one more row to do. I don't know where the time goes each day but it seems I just wake up and then it is time for bed. Oh well, better than being bored.

Here is today's inspiration.

Monday's Message and Niagara Falls

Happy Monday everyone. This weekend my daughter Shannon, Gregg and I went to Niagara Falls. For those who are not familiar with this place, it is one of the wonders of the world. It is an amazing place to visit and will definitely hold your interest. Part of the city which sits on the border with Canada and the United States is a real tourist town with streets packed with souvenir shops, restaurants, attractions, casino, and hundreds of hotels and is the Honeymoon capital of North America.
The other part is natures wonder of one of the worlds largest waterfalls highlighted with beautiful gardens gracing the pathways.
There are the American falls.

Then there are the Canadian Falls.

Here are some of the gardens.

More pictures and some tatting tomorrow.

I managed to get some tatting done yesterday which was nice as I always feel better when I accomplish goals I have set for myself.
This picture will give you a better view of our backyard. I would like to extend an open invitation to all tatters to join me here for some tatting. Any takers?

"People cling to their worldly possessions and selfish passions so blindly as to sacrifice their own lives for them. Tatting Tuesday and Inspiration

Here is a photo update of the doily I am working on. I don't seem to have a lot of time to tat right now. With my new camera I have been taking a lot of pictures, about 400 so far, and in the evenings when I would normaly tat Gregg and I have been enjoying our back yard. I am going to try and set some time aside for tatting today and maybe take part in the tat and chat.

Happy Birthday To Me

Another year older and definitely a year wiser. It has been a rough year but I survived it and am looking forward to the challenges and blessings the next year will bring. I am looking forward to being able to post better quality pictures as Gregg bought me a new camera for my birthday.

The camera is a Fujifilm S1800 and it is 12mp with 18X zoom. I am really looking forward to playing with this.
