"A master in the art of living draws no sharp distinction between his work and his play; his labour and his leisure; his mind and his body; his education and his recreation. He hardly knows which is which. He simply pursues his vision excellence through whatever he is doing, and leaves others to determine whether he is working or playing. To himself, he always appears to be doing both."

Century Doily/ Party Time Doily

The century doily that everyone is talking about was also published as the Party Time Doily from Traditional Tatting Patterns edited by Rita Weiss and I made it with Tourmaline Hand Dyed Thread from Yarnplayer size 80. This is my favorite thread that she makes so far.
I have also made this doily in Altin Basak size 50 thread which turned out very well. I would highly recommend trying this pattern. It was well written and the result is fantastic.
