I finally have a chance to post some of the tatting I have been doing and let you know about a present I received.
This is a spinning wheel coaster that Laura (Tattycat) tatted for me and sent as a nice surprise in the mail. It is made of Fern HDT by YarnPlayer. There is something special about receiving a gift of tatting especially when you know how much work went into it.
These are a bunch of Celtic Snowflakes that I tatted using Ruth Perry's design. One is done in Apple Blossom HDT, size 50 and the other ones are made with opera size 20 in red. Well on to tatting more gifts.

That is really sweet! What a precious gift from Laura! I'm glad that Gregg's dad is doing better and that you can be home getting ready for Christmas!
I'm glad Gregg's dad is feeling better. Lucky you, getting a Spinning Wheel from Laura. Bet you didn't know that's one of my favorite patterns! ; ) I love the snowflakes. Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones!
Glad to hear that Gregg's dad is to a point that you don't need to be there. Love the gift you were sent. The snowflakes look great. I think the red snowflakes look so much better than the white ones sitting in my yard and drive. Hope you and Gregg have a great Christmas. I will give you a call.
Yea, you are home! Good for all of you. I hope Gregg's dad continues to improve. I'm so glad you like the glass mat. Enjoy! Your snowflakes are beautiful. I have some apple blossom that I need to break out. Merry Christmas!
What a wonderful gift! It's a beauty! Your snowflakes are lovely in red.
So glad to hear that Gregg's Dad is on the road to recovery :)
Thank you everyone. We are very glad that Gregg's Dad is getting better and yes I am lucky to have received a gift of tatting from Laura.
Merry Christmas Clyde!
What a wonderful gift! And, if I recall correctly, the Spinning Wheel will match the larger doily that you made a while back.
The celtic snowflakes are beautiful! I like both the red ones and the apple blossom one.
Hope you have a Merry Christmas, and wishing you good health and happiness in the New Year!
I'm also glad Gregg's father is feeling better and you were able to return home. How nice of Laura to share a spinning wheel with you. And your celtic snowflakes are wonderful. Merry Christmas, Clyde!
Clyde, I love the way the green one turned out - lovely gift from Laura. I also love all those RED celtic snowflakes. Wouldn't they be a "star" on a white or silver tree?
Wishing you and your partner a wonderful Christmas!
Oh Clyde I agree, not great and more honored than getting a piece of art from a fellow tatter! That is a gorgeous gift!
I love your snowflakes too! Those are really pretty!
