These two wonderful shuttles arrived today from David Reed Smith. His handmade shuttles are made from exotic woods and are very light, smooth and a joy to tat with. They also hold a ton of thread and are available in a variety of sizes with or without a hook or pick. The lighter one is made from Tulip wood and the darker one is made from Purple heart wood. They are a welcome addition to my collection and as the saying goes you can never have to many shuttles.

Thank you every one I am really happy about the shuttles and if you have not tried them I really recommend you try one as they are a joy to tat with light and comfortable in the hand.
The very first shuttle I got besides the clunky metal Boye one was a DRS shuttle. I loved the way the wood felt in my hand. I'd get another but I have several and can't remember which woods I got in the past. LOL!
