Century Doily/ Party Time Doily

The century doily that everyone is talking about was also published as the Party Time Doily from Traditional Tatting Patterns edited by Rita Weiss and I made it with Tourmaline Hand Dyed Thread from Yarnplayer size 80. This is my favorite thread that she makes so far.
I have also made this doily in Altin Basak size 50 thread which turned out very well. I would highly recommend trying this pattern. It was well written and the result is fantastic.

Hi Clyde,
I'm with you on this one. It is deffinitely one of my favourites. I made it years ago from Traditional Tatting Patterns and it takes pride of place under glass on a side table in my lounge.

Hi Clyde, Wow, this is a Beautiful Doily and looks amazing in both colors, but my favorite is the Tourmaline! The effect is so elegant. What fine work you do!!

Hiya Clyde,
Both of your Century Doilies are just so beautiful. I haven't made a doily in ages now. I have that book and maybe I will think about making the doily. Beautiful...beautiful...beautiful.
