What I Am Up Too

Well you are probably wondering what is happening in my wonderful little tatting world. I am afraid it is not to exciting but it brings me joy because I am going to be sharing the joy of tatting. I have been busy tatting little motifs to give away at the seniors center today when I am doing a presentation on tatting. I am going to have some of my tatting on display. My tatting photos playing on a power point display and I will be tatting and answering any questions people may have. All this is to promote lessons I will be offering there come September.

The tatting demonstration went well and was enjoyed by all. People really appreciated the gift of a small piece of tatting. There where a few who knew how to tat but have not done it in many years so if there is enough interest not only will there be a beginners class there will be a refresher course.

On a sad note. When I got home today my little dog Ali could not use her one back leg. I took her to the vet and there is nothing broken or displaced so she thinks it may have something to do with the spinal cord. If she gets any worse I will have to have her put down as I will not allow her to suffer in any way. She has been to kind not to be treated with great love. Please keep Ali in your thoughts.

What a wonderful way to share your love of tatting, Clyde! There are several senior centers within a half hour of me, so maybe I'll see if there's any interest in tatting.

Your motifs are pretty, Clyde! That is such a nice gesture to have them ready to give at the Senior's Center! Way to go and spread the tatting love!

Hope Ali gets better. :(

Your presentation souds so wonderful and professionally put together...I wish I could attend, your students (of which I am sure will be many) are very lucky to have you as a teacher.

I am so sorry to hear about Ali, I will send my thoughts and prayers and hope the she recovers. I love my dog sooo very much, so I can really sympathize.

That is so thoughtful of you Clyde to share your passion with others. I'm so sorry to hear about your little Ali's problem. I hope she gets better soon.

I really enjoy giving the tatting lessons and teaching new tatters. I am one of those people who believe life is all about learning as much as you can so to be given the opportunity to teach is an honour.

You little motifs are so pretty. I agree with Diane that this is a wonderful way to share your love of tatting and yourself with people who probably need some joy like you can bring. You are a sterling example for the rest of us.
